Nokia announced five new mobile terminals at CeBIT 2002. Three of these products were simply refreshed versions of existing products.
Nokia 3410 — an entry-level dual-band (GSM900/1800) product with support for Java 2Micro Edition (J2ME) and a memory capacity of 150Kb.
Nokia 3510 — a similar to Nokia 3410 dual-band (GSM900/1800) product.
Nokia 6310i — an upgraded version of the Nokia 6310 with triband (GSM 900/1800/1900) support. The product includes Bluetooth capability, and supports high-speed circuit-switched data (HSCSD), GPRS and mobile Java (J2ME).
Nokia 7210 — a triband (GSM900/1800/1900) mobile terminal with a 4,096-color, high-resolution display, supports mobile Java (J2ME), MMS, GPRS, and hasbuilt-in hands-free capability and polyphonic MIDI sound, integrated FM radio.
Nokia 9210i — an updated version of the Nokia 9210 Communicator with an increased memory capacity of 40MB, support for HSCSD, a Flash player that supports MacromediaFlash 5 and a new Web browser that supports HTML version 4.0.1 as well as JavaScript.
Mitsubishi Electric Telecom Europe (METE) demonstrated the Trium Mondo - integrated phone/PDA (Packet Videos MPEG-4 audio/video playback software)
Microsoft announced the release to manufacturing of Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition software.
