Sony Ericsson unveils its first 3G phone

Today, Sony Ericsson unveiled the Z1010 dual mode UMTS/GSM phone. Coming rather late to 3G market the company nevertheless presented an impressive device with the widest range of features. It is optimised for video conferencing and video applications, with two inbuilt cameras, two displays, video support and MemoryStick flash card. Remarkably the device is announced in Z series which presumably stands for clamshell format and not for 3G/UMTS functionality.
Complete specifications will follow but even now the device looks as a promising debut for a company renoun for its quality and innovation.
