Looser Pays will change UK Mobile market
According to our favourite source of mobile rumours, Mobiles-Fly website, all major UK mobile networks announced today a new initiative called Looser Pays destined to change the face of mobile market forever.
If before the governing principle of mobile communication was the calling party pays, the Looser Pays changes the traditional rules and from now on not the party that initiated a phone call but the party that ended a call has to pay all the charges.
The underlying idea is that customers not only will start initiating mobile phone calls more often in hope that they eventually manage to annoy the other party to an extent that the other party will hang up first but also it is expected that the total duration of mobile phone calls will increase as both parties will hesitate to hang up first thus staying on air for much longer than before.
It is expected that the Looser Pays initiative will exercise a positive influence on the Betting industry as well, as Betting Shops are ready to accept bets on who becomes a looser and the total duration of Looser Pays calls.
Reportedly groups of teenagers already picked up the idea and established informal Looser Pays clubs aimed to terrorise senior citizens into hanging up on their calls.
It is also announced that the next step in this initiative will be an introduction of Looser Pays Bonus Tariffs that will reward the winning side with free bonus airtime minutes and occasional prizes.
