CeBIT 2005 summary

A number of exciting new mobile phones have been introduced at CeBIT 2005.
Samsung offers the latest technology with luxuriously designed moblie phones.
Samsung unveiled a 7-megapixel camera phone. The phone, called the SCH-V770, has a lens of the same type used in high-end digital cameras and features a 3x optical/5x digital zoom, auto focus, and flash.
Samsung showed a uniquely designed 3 megapixel camera phone, the SGH-Z700. SGH-Z700 has a unique twist-LCD design and is the worlds first 3 megapixel camera phone in UMTS.
Another achievement by Samsung showcased at CeBIT 2005 is the world’s first 3GB HDD embedded music smartphone - the SGH-i300.
Last year, Samsung already introduced the worlds first 1.5GB phone and the company has expanded its capacity into the new SGH-i300.
Sony Ericsson announced W800 Walkman (music phone) and K750i.
Motorola announced a set of new handsets:
Motorola V557 clamshell device with EDGE
Motorola SLVR V280
Motorola V1050 (3G) and V1150 (3G)
Siemens announced 5 new cell phones for CeBIT, most of them with excellent features.
The most advanced one was Siemens SXG75 (UMTS); Siemens M75 - designed for consumers with an active outdoor lifestyle; Siemens CX75; Siemens CF75 - an EDGE clamshell, Siemens CL75 - designed for fashion-conscious woman.
